Stonebrooke Engineering was selected to develop and evaluate, two signalized and two multi-lane roundabout intersections at the ramp termini for the proposed interchange at Zachary Lane and TH 610 in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Preliminary design engineering services included reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and making recommendations for improving Mn/DOT's preliminary concept layouts for the proposed signalized and roundabout intersections. Traffic services included traffic modeling, traffic impact studies, signal justification reports, intersection control evaluation, intersection geometrics and layout, capacity analysis, and cost estimates. A permanent signing plan, pavement marking plan, drainage plan, lighting plan, landscaping plan, pedestrian accommodations, and bicycle accommodations were also included.
