Stonebrooke Engineering provided preliminary and detail design and is currently providing construction inspection/administration/surveying services for the federal and state funded reconstruction of Washington Avenue and CSAH 25 (Adams Street) in Hutchinson. Improvements included a mill and overlay extending from the Crow River on the south to Fair Avenue SE (approximately 0.5 miles). This project also included sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, curb and gutter, concrete paving, cost estimates, specifications, lighting, and sidewalk improvements. The existing Washington Avenue roadway was reconstructed to develop consistent traffic operation and parking usage between Main Street and Adams Street. Streetscape and lighting were designed to complement the existing amenities on Main Street.
