McLeod County and the City of Hutchinson selected Stonebrooke Engineering to provide design services for the reconstruction of Washington Ave and CSAH 25 (Adams Street) in Hutchinson.  Proposed improvements will include a mill and overlay, or reclaim and overlay, extending from the South Fork of the Crow River on the south to Fair Avenue SE (approximately 0.5mi).   The proposed overlay will be completed in either bituminous or concrete. This project also includes sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, curb, concrete paving, lighting, and walk improvements.   Watermain and Sanitary improvements will be designed by the city and incorporated into the final construction documents. The existing Washington Avenue roadway will be reconstructed to develop consistent traffic operation and parking usage between Main Street and Adams Street. Streetscape and lighting will be designed to complement the existing amenities on Main Street.
