In response to expected area traffic growth and the desire to increase overall safety and roadway performance, Washington County and the City of Cottage Grove hired Stonebrooke Engineering to prepare a corridor study of CSAH 22 (70th Street) to identify area improvement features. Key tasks undertaken in this report include: traffic operations and safety analysis, intersection traffic control design, multi-modal facility analysis, traffic impact studies, traffic forecasting, signal justification reports, capacity analysis, preliminary design, graphic exhibits, and a feasibility study with cost estimates.
