Project Principal
TH 14 / TH 42
Tim is the project principal for the reconstruction of the intersection of TH 14 at TH 42, located in the west part of the City of Eyota. Due to increasing traffic volumes and past accident history, Mn/DOT District 6, is pursuing an Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) and preliminary design layout to compare feasible intersection control options for existing and projected traffic volumes to alleviate capacity constraints and improve safety. Stonebrooke’s role was to provide an optimized preliminary design layout for a roundabout at the intersection. This layout included items such as alignment, geometrics, profile, construction limits, proposed Right of Way and roundabout curve and turning movement data. A report detailing existing and proposed traffic operations, safety review, cost comparison and area environmental and design constraints for all feasible intersection options was also provided.

Project Principal
West Beltline (CSAH 7) Construction, Steele County
Tim is the project principal for this project, which includes Preliminary and Final Design of approximately 2 miles of new rural two-lane 10-ton roadway with concrete surfacing. The project will link SW 18th Street and existing Highway 14 on the west side of Owatonna. Corridor grading will accommodate a future four lane urban design which is the ultimate configuration for the roadway. This project is needed provide “system linkage” between the Mn/DOT proposed alignment of Highway 14 (New Highway 14) and existing Highway 14. The proposed roadway will provide a vital connection for the area as a direct route between north and south Owatonna.
