Civil Engineer
CSAH 25 / Washington Avenue
Kelly is serving as a design engineer on this project, which includes a mill and overlay or reclaim and overlay extending from the South Fork of the Crow River on the south to Fair Avenue SE (approximately 0.5mi). Washington Ave Improvements include the reconstruction of the existing roadway to develop consistent traffic operation and parking usage between Main Street and Adams Street. Proposed improvements include sanitary sewer, watermain storm sewer, curb, roadway surfacing, lighting, streetscape, and walks. Streetscape and lighting will be designed to seamlessly blend in with the existing amenities on Main Street.
Civil Engineer
CSAH 68 / CSAH 91
Kelly is a civil engineer for this project, which involves the reconstruction of the intersection of CSAH 68 at CSAH 91 in Scott County. This intersection will be reconstructed to include a single lane roundabout for traffic control. Improvements to this intersection will include the realignment of approximately 1800 lineal feet of CSAH 68 and 2200 lineal feet of CSAH 91 to accommodate a single lane roundabout and approaches. This intersection has moderately high speed approaches and this reconstruction will place a strong focus on intersection visibility with careful treatments of approach curbing, transition lighting and signs. Design services will include preliminary design for roadway geometrics, profiles, drainage design and construction limits.
Civil Engineer
CSAH 8 / CSAH 23
Kelly is a civil engineer for this project, which involves the reconstruction of the intersection of CSAH 8 at CSAH 23 in Scott County. Updates to the intersection include the realignment of approximately 2500 lineal feet of CSAH 8 and a single lane roundabout and approach lanes for traffic control. The resulting roundabout intersections will eliminate the existing approach skew and improve the capacity and safety of the intersection. Design services will include preliminary design for roadway geometrics, profiles, drainage design and construction limits.
Civil Engineer
West Beltline (CSAH 7) Construction, Steele County
Kelly is a civil engineer for this project, which involves both Preliminary and Final Design of approximately 2 miles of new rural two-lane 10-ton roadway with concrete surfacing. The project will link SW 18th Street and existing Highway 14 on the west side of Owatonna. Corridor grading will accommodate a future four lane urban design which is the ultimate configuration for the roadway. This project is needed provide “system linkage” between the Mn/DOT proposed alignment of Highway 14 (New Highway 14) and existing Highway 14. The proposed roadway will provide a vital connection for the area as a direct route between north and south Owatonna.
Civil Engineer
TH 3 / County Road 28 Intersection
Kelly is currently serving as a design engineer on this project, which involves the development of a Level 1 Layout for the City of Inver Grove Heights for the intersection of TH 3 and County Road 28. The preliminary design includes a multi-lane four-legged roundabout. Design services will include detail plans for roadway geometrics, profiles, bituminous surfacing, pavement design, signal design, and lighting.
Civil Engineer
TH 19 / 11th Ave Construction
Kelly is currently serving as a design engineer on this intersection construction project in the City of New Prague. The Level 1 Layout being developed for this project includes a single lane roundabout. Design services will include detail plans for roadway geometrics, profiles, bituminous surfacing, concrete pavement design, path, sidewalks, landscaping, signal design, and lighting.
Civil Engineer
TH 7 / CSAH 11 Intersection
Stonebrooke recently completed preliminary and final design plans for the realignment of Carver County CSAH 11. This $4.0 million project consists of relocating the existing CSAH 11/TH 7 intersection approximately 700 linear feet. It includes the redesign of approximately 2200 linear feet of CSAH 11 and 4000 linear feet of TH 7 with a multi lane roundabout. Kelly is serving as a design engineer on this project.
Civil Engineer
CSAH 153 (Lowry Ave) Hennepin County (Phase 2 Construction Services)
Kelly is providing on-site coordination and inspection services. For this project, Stonebrooke Engineering is providing full construction contract administration, community involvement, and coordination with local residents, City and County staff, contractors, and utility companies.
Civil Engineer
CSAH 153 (Lowry Ave) Hennepin County (Phase 2 Final Design)
Kelly served as an Engineer-in-Training on this project. This project included the complete reconstruction of Lowry Ave from Girard Ave. (Phase 1 Limit) to Theodore Wirth Parkway. This 1.1-mile segment required extensive community involvement including coordination between numerous neighborhood groups, elected officials, Hennepin County and City of Minneapolis staff and numerous utility companies. Design tasks included roadway geometry, profiles, storm sewer, signal systems, right of way needs, and bituminous and concrete pavement design.
Civil Engineer
CSAH 153 (Lowry Ave) Hennepin County (Phase 1 Construction Services)
Kelly provided on-site coordination, inspection and management services. For this project, Stonebrooke Engineering provided full construction contract administration, community involvement, and coordination with local residents, City and County staff, contractors, and utility companies.
Civil Engineer
CSAH 153 (Lowry Ave) Hennepin County (Phase 1 Final Design)
Kelly assisted with the final plan development of this reconstruction project, which consisted of complete reconstruction of the roadway from Girard Ave to Interstate 94 in order to facilitate addition of left turn lanes, on-street bicycle lanes, raised median island, parking bays, and bus turn-outs. Significant coordination was required between Hennepin County, City of Minneapolis, Metro Transit, and neighborhood groups. Design services included detail plans for roadway geometrics, bituminous surfacing, concrete pavement design, storm sewer design, landscaping, signal design, and lighting.
