CSAH 25 / Washington Avenue
Chad is the project manager for this $7.0M project. Proposed improvements include a mill and overlay or reclaim and overlay extending from the South Fork of the Crow River on the south to Fair Avenue SE (approximately 0.5mi). Washington Ave Improvements include the reconstruction of the existing roadway to develop consistent traffic operation and parking usage between Main Street and Adams Street. Proposed improvements include sanitary sewer, watermain storm sewer, curb, roadway surfacing, lighting, streetscape, and walks. Streetscape and lighting will be designed to seamlessly blend in with the existing amenities on Main Street.

Victory Memorial Parkway Street Intersection Closure Project
Chad is the project manager for this project, which involves the removal of the roadway portion of the street intersections between Victory Memorial Parkway and 45th Avenue and replacing it with green space. The street closures include: Xerxes Ave. N., Queen Ave. N., Penn Avenue N., Oliver Ave. N., Morgan Ave. N., Logan Avenue N., James Ave. N., and Irving Ave. N. The existing walks and trail will be rebuilt to match new grades created to remove the dips from the existing roadway crossings. All work is being performed according to Mn/DOT’s Standard Specifications for Construction.

CSAH 153 (Lowry Ave) Hennepin County (Phase 2 Final Design)
Chad served as the project manager of this project. This project included the complete reconstruction of Lowry Ave from Girard Ave. (Phase 1 Limit) to Theodore Wirth Parkway. This 1.1-mile segment required extensive community involvement including coordination between numerous neighborhood groups, elected officials, Hennepin County and City of Minneapolis staff and numerous utility companies. Design tasks included roadway geometry, profiles, storm sewer, signal systems, right of way needs, and bituminous and concrete pavement design.

Chad provided on-site coordination, inspection and management services. His responsibility included full construction contract administration, community involvement, and coordination with local residents, City and County staff, contractors and utility companies.

CSAH 153 (Lowry Ave) Hennepin County (Phase 1 Final Design)
Chad served as the project engineer for this project, which consisted of complete reconstruction of the roadway from Girard Ave to Interstate 94 in order to facilitate addition of left turn lanes, on-street bicycle lanes, raised median island, parking bays, and bus turn-outs. Significant coordination was required between Hennepin County, City of Minneapolis, Metro Transit, and neighborhood groups. Design services included detail plans for roadway geometrics, bituminous surfacing, concrete pavement design, storm sewer design, landscaping, signal design, and lighting.

Lowry Ave Preliminary Design (CSAH 153)
Chad served as project engineer for the preliminary design of Lowry Avenue located in North Minneapolis. This project consisted of the reconstruction and redevelopment of the Lowry Avenue Corridor from Theodore Wirth Parkway to Interstate 94. This project included extensive Public Involvement, an Environmental Assessment, Preliminary Design, and Landscape Architecture.

TH 7 / TH 22 Reconstruction in Hutchinson
Chad served as the lead design engineer for the final design of TH 7/TH 22 improvements. This project included the reconstruction of TH 7 / TH 22 to five lanes along with reconstruction of a short segment of TH 15 that included the replacement of the Crow River bridge.

CSAH 44 (Silver Lake Road) Ramsey County
Chad served as the lead design engineer, as well as the construction engineer for this 1-mile project in the city of New Brighton. This project included reconstruction/widening, streetscaping, traffic signals, pedestrian trails, retaining walls, drainage and storm ponding.

CSAH 5 (Kittson Blvd) Scott County
Chad served as the lead design engineer for the final design of a 1-mile project in the City of Belle Plain. The project involved converting a single-lane gravel roadway into a 4-lane divided urban roadway.

TH 169/TH 19 Interchange Improvements for Mn/DOT District 7
Chad served as design engineer for the final design of the TH 169/TH 19 Interchange Improvements. The existing rural intersection was reconstructed as a folded diamond configuration interchange, with TH 19 passing over TH 169.

TH 212 Reconstruction in Olivia
Chad served as design engineer for the final design of the TH 212 improvements. This project consisted of the reconstruction
of a 1.25-mile segment of TH 212 through the City of Olivia, between TH 71 and County Road 14. The final design included pond and storm sewer analysis, coordination of utility improvements with the City of Olivia, concrete paving, streetscape, and lighting in conjunction to the proposed downtown improvement project.

CSAH 3 (Excelsior Blvd) and St. Louis/Milwaukee Street Project
Chad served as a design engineer for the design of CSAH 3. The project included developing a four-legged intersection to accommodate 28,000 vehicles, a railroad, future commuter rail (LRT), express bus line, Hennepin Regional Parks trail, and pedestrian traffic.

CSAH 44 (160th Street) Reconstruction
Chad served as a design engineer for the preliminary and final design of CSAH 44 in Scott County. The project included the reconstruction of 1.25 miles of two-lane rural highway to four-lane urban roadway in the City of Savage and Credit River Township.
