Isanti County selects Stonebrooke for construction oversight of the Cambridge-Isanti Bike Trail and Bridge

Stonebrooke Engineering was selected by Isanti County to perform on-site construction inspection, contract administration, surveying, and material testing on the Cambridge-Isanti Bike Trail and Bridge No. 30516. This new trail will be a non-motorized transportation link between the Cities of Cambridge and Isanti. The end result will be a 2.6 mile trail, which includes 2.3 miles of bituminous trail and 0.3 miles of elevated boardwalk bridge trail.

The project area is a combination of residential, agricultural, and park land uses. The site also includes several nearby wetlands, as well as proposed wetland impact areas. The construction of Bridge 30516 is located in a particularly sensitive environmental area. Stonebrooke staff will coordinate construction in adherence with the expectations of these land uses. Our key concerns in the construction process will be safety, cost, and environmental impacts.
