New Pilot Lighting Study coordinated by Stonebrooke Engineering
Stonebrooke Engineering is coordinating a Pilot Lighting Study located along 46th Street for both Hennepin County and the City of Minneapolis. This lighting study is the largest of its kind in the State and will analyze how well Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Induction street lighting types work as compared to the City of Minneapolis standard of High Pressure Sodium (HPS). Parameters of comparison include: cost effectiveness, light output (efficacy), energy savings, maintenance concerns and public acceptance. Several different vendor and distributor LED and Induction lighting types will be utilized for this project.
