Stonebrooke awarded Preliminary and Final Design of CSAH 7 in Steele County
Stonebrooke Engineering was recently awarded the contract for the CSAH 7 construction project in Steele County, Minnesota. This project will include approximately 2 miles of new rural two-lane 10-ton roadway with concrete surfacing. The project will link SW 18th Street and existing Highway 14 on the west side of Owatonna. Corridor grading will accommodate a future four lane urban design which is the ultimate configuration for the roadway.

This project is needed provide “system linkage” between the Mn/DOT proposed alignment of Highway 14 (New Highway 14) and existing Highway 14 as well as to address increased traffic due to industrial development occurring in western Owatonna. The proposed roadway will provide a vital connection for the area as a direct route between north and south Owatonna.
