Stonebrooke Engineering awarded traffic study project in Dakota County
The Dakota County Transportation Department has chosen Stonebrooke Engineering as part of a team of local experts for analysis of intersection traffic control feasibility study. Stonebrooke will aid in providing recommendations for appropriate intersection traffic control for the intersections of County Road 6 (Thompson Avenue) and County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 73 (Oakdale Avenue) and CSAH 8 (Wentworth Avenue) and CSAH 73 (Oakdale Avenue), both in West St. Paul, and also County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 33 (Diamond Path) and 140th / Connemara Trail in the cities of Apple Valley and Rosemount.
This project includes development and analysis of alternatives for the subject intersections and a preferred alternative identified for each. The project will also include development of a schematic of the preferred alternatives with preliminary identification of the right of way needs, impacts, and general costs.
