Lowry Avenue Phase 2 Under Construction

Lowry Avenue construction between Girard Avenue and Queen Avenue began on April 21. The contractor has completed the removal work and is currently working on the watermain and new storm sewer system. The contractor will begin building the roadway soon. The curb and gutter, pavement, and landscape amenities should follow shortly thereafter. This portion of the project is on schedule and should be reopened to traffic by mid November.

Starting in Spring 2009, construction will take place between Theodore Wirth Parkway and Queen Avenue. This work is scheduled to be completed in November 2009.
