Lowry Avenue Corridor

We recently completed final design services for Phase 2 of the Lowry Avenue (CSAH 153) corridor in North Minneapolis. Phase 2 is estimated at $9.0 million and extends the Phase 1 project from Girard Avenue to Theodore Wirth Parkway. Design components included reconstruction of the existing 4-lane undivided urban section into a narrowed 2-lane roadway which included bike lanes, parking bays, and extensive streetscaping. This corridor had significant drainage challenges requiring detailed storm water modeling of the existing and proposed systems.
The Lowry Corridor is part of the City of Minneapolis Grand Rounds parkway system. In addition to detail design, Stonebrooke is currently providing full time surveying, and construction administration services for this corridor.
